Bangkok MRT Purple Line

The MRT Purple Line currently consists of 16 stations with one of them being shared with the Blue Line. Further extension of the line is currently on the way. The Purple Line connects the northwestern areas of Bangkok with the city center due to its convenient connection with the MRT Blue Line.

The MRT Purple Line is well connected with other Bangkok metro systems. The line connects with the MRT Blue Line of the same service provider as well as the city’s other mass rapid transit systems, such as the SRT Red Line and the MRT Pink Line

However, you can buy one ticket for the entire trip only if you transfer to the MRT Blue Line, as all other metro systems require you to buy separate tickets.

Bangkok MRT Purple Line Timetable

Bangkok MRT Purple Line operates from 05:30 to midnight on weekdays and from 06:00 to midnight on weekends and public holidays.
